With assistance from Olson Construction, the City of Thief River Falls repaired a water main break Friday, March 19 in the 200 block of Knight Ave. S. Lincoln High School and two nearby homes were affected and were expected to be without water for five hours. They were notified a day earlier about the planned repair. LHS was closed to students and staff. Students utilized Zoom to attend their classes that day, and activities were held elsewhere. Water Systems Superintendent Wayne Johnson said a cold snap led to the water main break.
