Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 152 of the Thief River Falls (“City”) City Code that Jeff Wengler, 16134 State Hwy 1 NE, Thief River Falls, MN 56701 has applied for a Conditional Use Permit for the purpose of conducting an automotive sales and rental business at 201 Main Ave. S., Thief River Falls, MN 56701. The property is described as follows:
Parcel number 25.00500930 – Porters Addition, Lots 1-5 Less Hwy, Block 3 and Parcel number 25.00342841 – Original Townsite of Thief River, part of vacated RR property lying between block 64 original town and block 3 of Porter’s addition.
Notice is further given that the Planning Commission will conduct a hearing on the Conditional Use Permit Application at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 in the City Council Chambers, 405 Third Street East, Thief River Falls, MN. All persons wishing to comment on the Conditional Use Permit Application will have the option to be heard at that time. Persons who wish to submit written comments prior to the Hearing or who have questions should address them to the office of the Zoning Administrator, City Hall, P.O. Box 528, Thief River Falls, MN 56701, or telephone 218-681-8506.
