Thief River Falls – Delores Evangeline Keim of Thief River Falls, formerly of Lakota, ND, passed away at her home in Thief River Falls on Friday, May 30, 2025.
Delores Miller was born on December 12, 1931, near Goodridge, the daughter of Morris and Signe (Sjulestad) Miller. She was the eldest of ten, and grew up on the family farm. She attended school at Reiner school and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1949. She enjoyed the LHS school reunions.
Delores was united in marriage to Arnold Andrew Keim of Red Lake Falls, and to this union, four children were born, Randal, Twila, Arnola, and Gregory. While raising her children, she raised a daughter who would become her closest companion, and in later years, would become her devoted caregiver: Arnie Reilly.
The couple settled in Lakota, ND after the children were in school. She was the Shaklee Ambassador, worked for the attorney Idean Locken and worked part-time at the Nelson County Courthouse. She sold her home and moved to Summerfield Place in Thief River Falls in 2014.
Delores had a big garden for 60 years, raising vegetables and she enjoyed canning.
Delores is survived by her children, Randal (Janet) of Detroit Lakes, Twila (Shawn Shrawny) Keim of Marana, AZ, Arnola “Arnie” Reilly of Thief River Falls, and Gregory Keim of Eden Prairie; grandson, Griffin (Jennifer) Hoffmann; step-great-grandson, Hunter Hoffmann; siblings, Richard (Judy) Miller, Judy Anderson, Joyce Geer, Morrie (Mary) Miller, and Gene (Kari) Miller; sister-in-law, Sharon Miller; along with many nieces and nephews.
Delores is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; parents, Morris and Signe Miller; siblings, Edgar (Dorothy) Miller, Lyn (Dick) LaCoursiere, Sharon (Leon) Iverson, and Norman Miller; and brothers-in-law, Larry Geer and Richard “Red” Anderson.
