Plummer – James Douglas Congdon, 45, of Plummer, died Saturday, May 26, 2018 as a result of an ATV accident.
The funeral service for James was held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Burial was in Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit, IL.
James was born January 30, 1973 in Beloit, WI, the son of Marvin “Doug” and Betty “Rachel” (Buffington) Congdon. He was a 1991 graduate of South Beloit High School, South Beloit, IL.
James was formerly employed by McClary Foods, City of Capron, IL and Red Lake County. He also drove semi for Schneider and Paradis Trucking. James enjoyed being an EMT for Clinton, WI. He was also a member of the Plummer Lions Club.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding his 4-wheeler. Taking care of his dog Hemi, and his Hemi truck, were the things he loved best.
Survivors include his parents, Marvin “Doug” and Betty “Rachel” Congdon of South Beloit, IL; sister, Lisa Malmstrom of South Beloit, IL; brother, Michael (Jessica) Congdon of Janesville, WI; three nieces, Kara Congdon, Madi Kail and Hailey Congdon; aunt, Maureen “Marty” (Keith) Kjornes of South Beloit, IL; and many cousins.
A special thanks to his second family from Plum­mer, Gary (Arlene) Ander­son, Rich (Tina) Anderson and Jeff Anderson.
He was predeceased by his grandparents and uncle, Raymond Barber.
