Thief River Falls senior Caleb Rosendahl scored 47 points to lead Thief River Falls to a 92-76 win over Menahga Friday night at the Lincoln High School Brickhouse.

Rosendahl’s 47 points are not only a career high for the senior point guard, but they also set a new school record.

The previous single-game record-holder was Jake Joppru, who scored 44 points against Grand Rapids on Jan. 9, 2015.

“Wonderful team win led by Caleb Rosendahl, who set the school scoring record for a single game as our lead went from five to 20 in five minutes,” said Head Coach Jon Hams.

The Prowlers led 42-34 at the break and pulled away behind Rosendahl in the second half for the 16-point win.

Joining Rosendahl in double-figure scoring was senior Maxton Peterson, who scored 11 points while dishing out three assists.

The Prowlers were back in action Monday night against the Goodridge/Grygla Chargers at Goodridge High School. Results from that game will appear in the next edition of The Northern Watch.
