The Thief River Falls boys basketball team officially closed the book the 2025-26 season with its team banquet on Tuesday, March 31.

The Prowlers started the season 7-2 and 14-12 overall in the regular season. They defeated Roseau 69-57 in the first round of the Section 8AA playoffs before being eliminated following a 73-50 quarterfinal loss at Staples-Motley on March 7.

The Prowlers were an experienced group in 2025-26, led by seniors Bridger Wilcox, Wyatt Nelson, Tucker Grindeland, Jett Cornelius, Casey Nelson, Dylan Osowski and Cooper Skjerven.

Nelson and Wilcox received All-Conference honors following the season.

Wilcox joined the 1,000-point club during the Prowlers’ 65-44 loss at Red Lake County on Jan. 8. He finished his career with 1,410 points, which ranks fourth in program history.
