    Thief River Falls – Adeline Moe, 99, of Thief River Falls, passed away on Thursday August 17, 2017 at the Broen Home, Fergus Falls, with her loving family at her side.
    Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, with Rev. Alex Amiot and Rev. Wes Langaas officiating. Burial will be at Satersdal Cemetery, Excel Township, Marshall County.
    Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls.  Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service.
    Martha Adeline Nabben was born October 25, 1917 at Agdar Township, Marshall County, the daughter of Haagen and Martha (Mortenson) Nabben. She was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Agdar Township on November 17, 1917 and confirmed on November 4, 1930. She grew up and attended elementary school in rural schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in1936.
    On May 26, 1937, Adeline was united in marriage to Joseph Manvel Moe. The couple lived on the farm until Joseph’s death in 1978, when she moved into Thief River Falls. She was employed at Northwest Medical Center in sterile supply and as a nurse’s aide for 13 years, retiring in 1983.
    Adeline was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Our Saviour’s Women’s Missionary Federation and Silver Creek Homemakers. She served as organist at the Satersdal Lutheran Church for about 15 years.  
    Adeline enjoyed flower gardening, music, sewing and genealogy. She especially enjoyed being with family.
    Adeline is survived by children, Marilyn (Roger) Nygaard, Bloomington, Ronald (Barbara) Moe, Dalton, and Lorna Larsen, Rio Rico, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Henry, Mathis, Alfred, Harold, Victor, Erland, and Percy; sisters, Josephine Dunbar and Johanna Green; two brothers in infancy; and son-in-law, Daniel Larsen.
